James Kenneth “Ken” Singleton, 78, of Yazoo City, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was born on August 18, 1941 to Ruby Adams Singleton and Dewitt Singleton. He is proceeded in death by both parents, stepfather, Robert Moore, sibling Henry Singleton and one son, James Dewitt Singleton "Little Jimmie."
For many years he was a local business owner and also an engineer at the Mississippi Highway Department. Ken, as he was affectionately referred to by many friends and family was an outgoing and spirited individual who lived his life to the fullest.
Survived by his wife Carolyn J. Singleton, Ken’s spirit lives on through his two grown children: Tim (Meka) Singleton and Rana Singleton Hood; 7 grandchildren (Kelsey, Taylor, Rhett, Jacy, Mayghan, Reece, and Dylan), two great-grandchildren (Zayden and Brooklyn), and two sisters, Jeannie Parker and Kat Montgomery.
The family selected and held a private memorial in honor of his life. They wish to thank each and everyone for their prayers, calls, visits and everything else.
