Joyce Norris Burnette, 86, passed away at Baptist Yazoo Hospital in Yazoo City on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church in Yazoo City and as she always said "I love the Lord, and I know he loves me."
She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Joe) Burnette; her parents, Leon and Edna Winter Norris; her sister, Kathleen Waldrop; and niece, Gina Waldrop.
Survivors include her nieces, Gail Harris and Pam Morris; nephew, Kenny Waldrop; and a host of great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
There will be a service at First Baptist Church in Yazoo City on Sunday, May 15. Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m., followed by a service at 2 p.m.
