Halton "H.D." Bradshaw

Halton “H.D.” Bradshaw, 91, of the Mechanicsburg Community of Yazoo County passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 20, 2018.

Mr. Bradshaw was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired logger and a member of Ogden Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Bertha Outlaw of Yazoo City and Betty Marie Porter of Bentonia; sons, Halton “Pete” Bradshaw of Ola, AR and Bill Bradshaw of Bald Knob, AR; 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Davis Bradshaw; a son, Danny “Doodle” Bradshaw; and a granddaughter, Amy Porter.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 22 from 5-7 p.m. at Stricklin-King. Funeral Home in Yazoo City with services Wednesday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with internment to follow in Ogden Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Roger Reeder will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers are Chuck Outlaw, Lee Bradshaw, Will Bradshaw, Dan Bradshaw, Michael Shane Bradshaw and Lynn Outlaw.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ricky Dale Bradshaw, Terry Bradshaw, Jackie Bradshaw and Wayne Parker.
