Glen Patterson, 79, of Yazoo City, passed away on Jan. 17, 2022 at Merit Health in Vicksburg.
Funeral services will be held on Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at Stricklin King Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral services. Rev. Ken Lynch will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Fletchers Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Patterson was born on June 4, 1942 in Meridian to F.O. and Ester Patterson. He was a member of Parkview Church of God, a Navy veteran and worked with maintenance at the V.A. Hospital.
Patterson was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judy Long Patterson; brother, Phil Patterson; daughter, Ester Marie Patterson; and two stepsons, Joseph Higgins and Kenneth Higgins.
Survivors include his son, Allen Patterson of Yazoo City; stepson, Dennis (Brenda) Moulder; 4 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
