Alice E. Worthy, 80, of the Mechanicsburg Community passed away at her residence Monday, November 30, 2020. 

Mrs Worthy was born March 30, 1940 in Yazoo County to Henry and Eunice McFarland Rusche. Alice was employed as an administrative assistant at DataPlex and was a member of Anding Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her sons, Billy Worthy and Al Worthy; daughters, Mary Eunice Hancock (Tommy) and Alicia Gay Worthy, all of Bentonia; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Davis of Bentonia, Bonnie Carter of Yazoo City and Mary Juanita Landrum of Bentonia.

Services will be Thursday,  December 3 at Anding Baptist Church with visitation starting at 11 a.m. followed by services at noon under the direction of Stricklin King Funeral Home. Rev. Steven Howell and Glenn Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at The Hancock Family Cemetery on Mechanicsburg Road in Yazoo County.
