Deputy injured while pursuing drag racers

Drag racing led to a deputy’s vehicle being struck by an out-of-control vehicle near Broadway last week.

The deputy was taken to a Jackson hospital and has since been released. And two suspects are being questioned in connection with the racing accident that could have led to more serious injuries.
