A 19-year-old man will serve three years in jail for attempted aggravated assault.
Kerril Ross recently pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated assault in Yazoo County Circuit Court. He was sentenced to ten years in a state prison with seven years suspended.
Ross was arrested in June of 2018 and charged with assault in connection to a Prentiss Street shooting.
However, those charges were later dropped.
Ross’ attorney added that he (Ross) had nothing to do with the actual death of Tandre Weekly, who died from a single gunshot wound.
