John was very active in the community, most notably as a coach in the SMCSO soccer program. He spent countless hours on practice fields and at matches. There are scores of young ladies who have been blessed with his teachings of hard work, dedication and team work. He also taught them that the game was not all about winning but it was sure more fun when you did.
John accomplished much in life but he was most proud that he was a devout son to his parents, an amazing father to his children and a true and loving husband to his wife Toni.
