Floyd Wallace Walker died on January 18, 2021 at his home in Vaughan Mississippi.
Wallace fought a journey of cancer for almost five years. He fought this disease as a tough-minded optimist from beginning to end.
Wallace was born December 27, 1940 to Floyd and Mary Walker.
Wallace and Peggy Walker were married and had three children: Floyd “Petey” Walker Jr. (Cindy) of Cartersville Georgia, Crystal Newquist (Jimmy) of Madison Mississippi and Kevin Berry Walker.
Grandchildren: Chad Walker (Rachel), Sonny Walker (Morgan), Drew Newquist (Theresa), Hallie Perry (Tre’) and Kaitlyn Walker.
Great Grandchildren: Haven Grace-Dallas-Tripp and Jackson Walker, Margaret June and Karis Walker, Decker James Newquist and Mary Charles Perry.
Wallace is predeceased by his parents, his wife Peggy Wilkinson Walker, his son Kevin Berry Walker, his brother Charles “Sonny” Berry Walker and his sisters Mary Alice Reese and Katherine Beene.
Wallace’s career was in sales with the same company for 50+ years. He also pursued life with a passion in farming. He absolutely loved the outdoors from sunrise to sundown.
The family is so thankful for Mae Moorehead (caregiver and friend) as she took such amazing care of Wallace and Peggy.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private graveside services will be held at a later date.
