Public Service Commission of Yazoo has been able to maintain an above average constant pressure in the distribution system.
In some areas residents should see a slight increase in pressure. With the temperature becoming warmer, PSC advises all customers to turn off all outside faucets and continue to limit water use as much as possible.
PSC appreciates your patience while all crews are still working to maintain system pressure with about 300 customers still with no water due to possible frozen water meters.
The city wide boil water advisory is a precautionary advisory until further notice. All customers are advised to boil their drinking water until adequate pressure is restored to the system. Customers will be notified when the advisory is lifted.
Public Service Commission Of Yazoo is encouraging customers to do their best to conserve water and call 662-746-3741 option 2 to report low water pressure or no water at their home or business. Customers are also asked to report any visible water main breaks in the distribution system.
