Joshua Blake Coghlan,19, of Holly Bluff, MS, left his earthly home Sunday, April 18, 2021 to join the greatest baseball team in the sky.
Blake had three passions in this life: farming, baseball, and hunting. He excelled in all three. Blake had a smile that could light the darkest of rooms and days. He was a wonderful uncle, son, brother, and friend. He had the ability to turn your worst day into the best one all by his magical hug and a joke, followed by a sly little grin that could melt your heart.
He was an upcoming farmer, working for Coghlan Planting Company, alongside his father. He had a passion for agriculture that was unmatched by anyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, usually by somebody of water or on the farm. To put it simply, Blake was an angel among us. His legacy will live on through the farm, his parents, siblings, and niece and nephews.
Blake was proceeded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Flora Lee Robertson of Columbia, MS, and his paternal grandfather, Floyd Henry Coghlan (Son) Sr of Holly Bluff, MS.
He is survived by his father, Ike (Angie) Coghlan of Holly Bluff, MS mother Sandi (Wade) Woods of Yazoo City , sisters Megan Coghlan (JR Johnson), Taylor Dean, Katie Dean all of Holly Bluff, MS; brothers Leslie(Celeste) Woods of Kosciusko, MS, Eric(Nikki) Woods of Holly Bluff, MS, and Alex Madesclaire (Mia) of London, England, nephews Lawson Blake Hogue, Lane Woods, and Hunter(Kayla) Woods, and one niece, Emmy Woods.
