Miss Johnson to wed Thomas Saturday
Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Lorrie Johnson of Benton and Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Kelli Burnum of Vaughan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Margaret Johnson, to Bryan Thomas, son of the late Judge Hudson Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon and Cookie Hearst of Yazoo City.
The Bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen and Linda Johnson of Tchula, and Mr. and Mrs. Mickey and Karen Ellis of Vaughan.
The Prospective Bridegroom is the grandson of the late Hudson Thomas and Jeanelle Fratesi of Yazoo City, and the late Clete Christian and Carmen Christian of Jackson.
Mary Margaret is a Class of 2012 graduate of Benton Academy, and also graduated from Holmes Community College with a degree in Surgical Technology. She is currently employed as a surgical technologist at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
Bryan is a Class of 2005 graduate of Manchester Academy, and also graduated from Holmes Community College with a degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. He is currently employed at Ragland Farms.
The couple will be wed in a double ring ceremony on November 10, at Ragland Lodge, located at 2866 Big Mound Road in Bentonia. Pastor Clint Richie of First Baptist Church in Yazoo City will officiate the ceremony.
Following the wedding, a reception will be held at Ragland Lodge. No local invitations will be sent, but family and friends are invited.
