Three Yazoo area basketball teams participated in the Mississippi Hardwood Tournament held in Jackson last weekend. Yazoo Elite and Texas Ballers Elite had teams participate in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade divisions, and Lewis Elite had two teams in teh 3rd grade division. Yazoo Elite went 4-3 overall (7th grade 2-2, 8th grade 1-2, 9th grade 1-3), Texas Ballers Elite went 0-9 overall (7th grade 0-3, 8th grade 0-3, 9th grade 0-3), and Lewis Elite went 3-4 overall (Lewis Elite 3-1, Lewis Elite Black 0-3).
