Yazoo Central Impresses at State Games

The Yazoo community baseball team, Yazoo Central, under the direction of Yazoo County middle school coach Gerald Peyton, went 3-1 in the State Games of Mississippi over the weekend.

Yazoo Central’s tournament run began with a 3-1 victory over Murrah High School in the first game of pool play.
