Yazoo County came out and scored early and often in a game that was never in doubt.

With their difficult non-conference schedule out of the way, Yazoo County started conference play 1-0 with a 47-6 beatdown of Amanda Elzy.

Despite their 3-3 record, the Panthers are 1-0 against teams in their classification.

They have played an early non-conference slate full of 4A, 5A, and 6A programs.
