Suspects have been charged in connection with two Yazoo City shootings last weekend.
Police Chief Terry Gann said Terrance Morris was charged with aggravated assault following a shooting at the Blue Diamond on Bridge Street last Friday, which left one victim with a gunshot wound in the leg.
A separate shooting also occurred in Jonestown last Sunday with Joffery Hackett and Cameron Crosby both charged with aggravated assault, which also left a victim with a gunshot wound in the leg. Another victim was injured after she fell while running from the scene.
“We don’t have many details as to what started the shooting as we continue our investigation,” Gann said. “But shots were fired, striking one victim in the leg.”
