The Indians of Yazoo City will have to continue to search for their first win of the year after falling 32-7 to Canton High School.
Freshman running back Cameron Sneed was the bright point for the Indians.
Sneed rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries in the loss.
Jordan Cole led the Indians in tackles with 10, one of which was for a loss.
Daquaris Anderson had nine tackles, while Javarious Grady had eight tackles against Canton High School.
Torey Haymer had seven tackles, one of which was for a loss, in the losing effort.
DeBreko Davis, Javoris Martin and Roncedrick Weekly each had a tackle for loss in the defeat.
Yazoo City High will attempt to curb their losing streak on Friday night when they host Vicksburg.
The Gators of Vicksburg are 2-1 on the year after dropping their first game of the year, a 42-21 loss to rival Warren Central, on Friday night.
