A suspect has been identified and charged in the Jan. 10 robbery of the Walmart gas station in Yazoo City.
Curtis Williams, 23, of Durant was arrested Monday in Durant after Yazoo City police received tips from the public.
The Yazoo City Police Department's Investigator Captain Artis Harris along with Officer Jamie Langston met with Durant and Kosciusko police officers in Durant and arrested Williams without incident.
Williams will also be questioned about connections to another robbery on Jan. 9 at Yazoo City’s Burger King drive thru.
Williams is currently being held by Kosciusko Police Department facing similar charges and will be held to face his charges in Yazoo.
Yazoo Police Chief Patrick Jaco said he appreciates the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
