Some pundits are calling it a “soft coup,” but I wonder if it might not be treason.
There was a planned and orchestrated attempt to remove a duly elected president from office by “any means necessary.” Caught in the crosshairs of this attempt was General Michael Flynn, and he has paid an awesome price for agreeing to serve in the Trump Administration.
Even today, a district court judge has not only become the judge, but he has become the prosecutor bringing in outside people to argue against the Justice Department’s decision not to prosecute Flynn.
This is crazy. No judge can become the judge and jury. When the Justice Department made the decision to drop all charges against General Flynn, the case was over, yet this district judge insists on having a superior court overturn his decision to proceed with the case.
We now know that “Russian Collusion” was made up by the Obama Administration. In secret testimony before Adam Schiff’s congressional committee, everyone testified, and this includes James Comey, that there was no evidence of Russian Collusion with the Trump Administration. Susan Rice, a top advisor for security affairs stated that there was no evidence that Flynn had given any type of information to the Russians.
This testimony was just recently declassified, but the Obama Administration knew that Flynn was an innocent man. Adam Schiff knew that Flynn was an innocent man. He also knew that there was no collusion with the Russian government.
Rod Rosenstein, acting director of the Justice Department, knew that there was no “Russian Collusion,” yet he took the unusual step of appointing a special prosecutor, Robert Mueller, to investigate - you guessed it, “Russian Collusion.”
Michael Flynn, an American citizen, a man who had served his country in the military for over 30-years, was spied upon by the Obama Administration. He was “unmasked” nearly 30 times by individuals who had no business “unmasking” him and spying on his contacts. After all, Trump had made him National Security Advisor.
So what was this illegal effort to bring down Flynn all about? Today, we are left with speculation, but the truth is slowly coming out since more and more declassified documents are being released to the public. Some observers familiar with this case think that Flynn may have known where all of the “dead bodies,” bodies placed by the Obama Administration, were buried. He had been an intelligence officer in the military, and he was familiar with America’s intelligence community.
Further, he had made a commitment to reorganize the way intelligence was gathered, and this means that many of the personnel would by the very nature of this decision be moving on to retirement or other jobs outside of government.
If an employee is existing in the present system “fat, dumb, and happy,” and the work is not very hard, then one can see why General Flynn was opposed by the “deep State.” It all makes perfect sense now. Get rid of Flynn and save your job. Failure to do so means unemployment.
James Comey, saintly former FBI Director, was doing everything in his power to save Hillary’s bacon. Hillary, of course, bought and paid for the “Steele Dossier, a collection of pure garbage designed to derail the Trump Administration and eventually get Trump removed from office.
Some very bad things are going on even now in Washington. Hopefully, Attorney General William Barr and special prosecutor John Durham will finally get to the bottom of this unlawful intrigue. As President Trump says, “It’s time to drain the swamp.” We may find that “treason” existed underneath some of the filthy swamp water.
It is past time for an airing out.
