We live in an era where it is difficult to believe anything the news media reports. Reporters are guilty of weaving their own personal biases into their reports, and for the most part, most of the reporters are either leftist or extremely liberal. Most of them cannot get over the fact that the socialist Hillary Clinton lost the presidential election. Some are still so angry that they would like to drive Donald Trump from office.
Nothing Donald Trump does is good enough for the American liberal press. If you have been following the news, you know that Trump has been roundly criticized for talking tough on North Korea. His "fire and fury" speech sent the liberal press into another heretofore unknown level of insanity. They preached that Trump was taking us to war. They wanted him to negotiate. One congresswoman, Maxine Waters, even suggested that we should find out what Kim Jong-un wanted and give it to him. That is exactly what Bill Clinton did. That is what Barack Obama did, and how did that work out? Kim Jong-un became more demanding and continued to build up his nuclear arsenal and perfect his intercontinental missiles. Today, Kim has improved his missile technology to the point where he may be able to hit our West Coast. Certainly Hawaii, Guam, and Japan are in range.
One of the most perplexing things about the press, especially cable news, is that the people they bring on to discuss the happenings of the day are literally dumb. Most of them have little knowledge about what they speak and no accomplishments in the real world. One of the little known secrets about the mainstream press is that it is very incestuous. For example, the wife of a congressional aid may be an "expert" on ethics in government. She, naturally, will reflect the ideology of her husband. If someone has every worked in a presidential administration, he or she is held up as an "expert in all fields." We even have the wife of a U. S. Senator heading the Department of Transportation. Obama’s former press secretary was married to a reporter who worked for NBC. Guess what her political views were.
All of these people have made good money while living in the "swamp." Most of this money is taxpayer dollars, so that is one reason why President Trump is finding it so difficult to "drain the filthy swamp." One of the surest ways to make an enemy is to "mess with his money. If a person will kill a fellow human being over $10, what will they do when the fight is over thousands and thousands of dollars.
All of the cable news networks have "experts" standing by to discuss any issue or to comment on a specific incident that happened during the day. Whether you are a liberal or conservative, rich or poor, Republican or Democrat - no 22-year old should be allowed to change your life or philosophy - something that you have acquired over a lifetime - just because he appeared on television. The sad truth is that many of these people are incompetent and are, to make matters worse, stupid, ignorant, or both - and are you tired of seeing the same no-nothing people over and over again?
Congressmen and Congresswomen are no better. The vice-chair of the Democrat Party, Keith Ellison, has demonstrated his loyalty to America by proclaiming that "Kim Jong-un is acting more responsible than Trump." Ellison, the first Muslim American elected to congress said, " Kim Jong-un, the world always thought he was not a responsible leader, well, he’s acting more responsible that the guy in the White House."
After years of paying ransom to Kim, and after the Democrats have made in possible for him to develop an atomic bomb, we finally have a president who understands how to deal with this tyrant. Early this morning before dawn, I learned that Kim Jong-un had reconsidered his intent to bomb Guam. Was it because Trump paid a ransom? Was it because Trump negotiated? No, my friend. It was because the President of the United States explained to him in clear language what would happen if he attacked America or our allies. Kim has blinked. He just discovered that he is not a suicide bomber.
