What happens to a company when a new CEO is hired? First, everyone in management becomes very nervous and for good reason.
A new CEO is going to bring in new people, people who are loyal to him, people who understand and support his management philosophy.
If a company is in financial trouble or if production has fallen, every employee knows that change is coming. Some CEOs are hired to reorganize the company, some to streamline the company, others to open up new markets, and still others, to sell the company. It is the free enterprise system at work. That is why adult people understand that no job is forever. Markets change, products change, and most of all, people change.
Until the new CEO gets his team in place and everyone knows the new course the company will take, chaos will be the order of the day. Some people will panic and quit because they believe they will be fired. Others will engage in rumors that upset their fellow workers, while others secretly look around for new employment in case the ax falls on them.
The USA finds itself in one of those "change" moments, and the stockholders, you and I, have elected someone to shake things up, streamline the operation, root out the corruption, preserve our culture, and most of all, protect us from terrorism. One would think that these are lofty goals that everyone should support. Wrong! It seems that many are so afraid of the new CEO that they have decided to be in constant rebellion.
The new CEO’s Executive Order dealing with who can come into the country has the liberals and anarchists riled up. They are protesting in New York, Los Angeles, and in other large American cities trying to force the new administration to roll back its executive order. Senator "Crying" Chuck Shumer is leading the protest. Schumer is claiming that all refugees should be admitted to this country regardless of who they are or where they came from.
It matters not to him that some of these people may have come to this country to do bad things, like blow up a busy bridge or destroy a synagogue or church. Shumer is one of those politicians who will say or do anything to gain personal power. He cares nothing for the refugees, but he sees them as a stepping stone to damage the new CEO. He cares nothing about the safety of American citizens. He simply hopes that the anarchist aligned with him and George Soros, the billionaire who hates this country, can help him gain more power.
We live in strange times. The news people can watch the same speech you saw, then tell you, convincingly sometimes, that you didn’t hear what you thought you heard. Young people are out on the street protesting because the new CEO "is a dictator." The media, of course, has fostered this story, and young people swallow this "fake news" hook, line and sinker.
The new CEO intends to change things. Contrary to what the media would like for our citizens to believe, no non-citizen is entitled to come to this country. We have laws that govern immigration and how someone from a foreign country enters this country. These laws have not been enforced. Barack Obama for all practical purposes allowed the border with Mexico to be an open border. Illegal immigrants from Mexico and South America poured across the border in increasing numbers. Many have made their way to our largest cities, and many have ended up in California. For years we have been fighting an asymmetric war with Mexico. Pour enough illegal immigrants into America, and soon Mexicans will control the political power. California is placing a resolution before it citizens to secede from the Union. Illegal immigrants march daily in California under the Mexican flag chanting that they want their land back that was taken from them. Mexico wants Texas back, and the entire southwest, and until the new CEO moved to Washington, the foolish representatives in the House and Senate never raised a hand.
We are losing the culture war. The more illegal immigrants move into our country, the more the culture changes. Most of them come from countries where dictatorships have prevailed for decades, so that is all they know. They have not had time to assimilate into the American culture, and why should they?
The United States has made it easy for them to come by giving them welfare checks, housing, and other government handouts, so why shouldn’t they want to bring their culture with them?
In some parts of the country, we may have the most immature and ignorant young people that have ever been produced. Their judgment is based on feelings rather than the Constitution of the United States and what is good for America.
Their education at our colleges and universities has been through the eyes of communist and socialists - hello Bernie Sanders. It remains to be seen whether or not the new CEO can turn this very sick country around, but I believe that he will give it everything he has. That is all we can ask.
