If you are a Washington establishment type, you may have convinced yourself that Hillary Clinton won last week’s presidential debate. If you score a debate strictly on how well one debater has memorized her lines, you could possibly conclude that Hillary won the debate. If you hang on every word the mainstream media spins, you, no doubt, concluded that Hillary won. If you believed that Lester Holt was the most fair moderator that you had ever seen, you thought that Hillary won the debate.
It took a couple of days for this debate, which was watched by nearly 80 million people, to sink in with the American people, but when it did, the overwhelming consensus was that "The Donald" had not only won the debate, but had done it in convincing fashion.
Shortly after the debate concluded, I began my search for online polls. When they began to come in, I was pleasantly surprised. The Drudge Report’s online poll had nearly a million respondents. Out of that huge number, a little over 80 percent thought that Trump had won and a little less than 20 percent felt that the "Crooked One" was victorious.
The "spin doctors" were quick to point out that this was not a scientific poll, whatever a scientific poll is. "You must have a poll that includes at least 10 percent more Democrats than Republicans, you must interview at least 1013 individuals, and you must have a set of questions that have been tested over and over again to determine scientifically what the American people are thinking." My first question is why are 1013 people’s opinion more accurate than 800,000, but what do I know?
CNN, a.k.a. the Clinton News Network, was the only poll that purported to show that Clinton had won the debate.
If you will reflect back to the primary election where 17 outstanding candidates competed for the nomination. After each debate, which were many, the establishment convinced themselves that Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, or John Kasich or other candidates had won. Unfortunately for the corrupt establishment, the American people voted for "The Donald."
Which brings me to this point. The establishment pundits claim constantly that Trump has "high negatives." We know for a fact that Hillary has high negatives that have been justly earned over her non-productive career, which spans nearly 30 years, but what about Trump? I’m beginning to believe that this is all spin, manufactured by the media which is in partnership with the Hillary campaign. Trump draws huge overflow crowds everywhere he goes. Hillary draws less that a thousand when she does venture out on the campaign trail after a long rest period. In order to camouflage Hillary’s high negatives, I believe that she has planted the notion that Trump’s negatives are as high as hers.
Trump is a true outsider. He had nothing to do with Obamacare, a program that is in an unrecoverable nose dive, Benghazi, classified e-mails, the "home brewed" illegal server that she stored in her basement, and the mishandling of classified information. Nor did Trump lie to the families who lost loved-ones at Benghazi and tell them that a homemade movie triggered the attack on the American compound. Of all of the nasty and dirty lies that Hillary has told, and there are many, this may be the worst of all. No person with a conscience could have stood over the coffins of these dead heroes and told the families such a sorted lie.
Trump has had nothing to do with the disaster this country has become.
