Do you have any doubt that the Democrat Party controls the media? If you believe that the media is “fair and balanced,” I have some productive farm land at the mouth of the Mississippi River that you just might be interested in purchasing.
The American press has always bought into the idea that the planet is warming because of man’s use of fossil fuels. When the idea of “global warming” was rejected by the American people, the new term became “climate change.”
One does not have to have a Ph.D. in science to know that the climate changes every single day. No two days are exactly alike. In fact, we have a hard time predicting what the weather will be 10 days from now. There are variations in temperatures, moisture, clouds, and sun spots. All of these things have an effect on climate, and as far back in the geological record as we can go, they always have.
Governments throughout the world want to convince their citizens that “climate change” has been caused by man, and therefore man must pay a penalty for the mess he has caused. They say that a “carbon tax” would be a good place to start.
For a short while, I thought perhaps the “alarmist” in the climate change movement had withdrawn their forces and conceded defeat, but I was wrong. They are back at in again in full battle gear trying to scare all of us into believing that the earth is warming and that the ice in the Arctic and Anartic is melting so fast that by 2050, seas levels will have risen by nine feet. Coastal cities and towns will be destroyed. A little over 10 years ago, that great scientific thinker and philosopher, Al Gore, predicted that Manhattan would be under water by 2015. The last time I checked, Trump Tower was still standing, and there is no seawater seeping into the basement.
“Climate change” is a political theory rather than a scientific theory. I watched a TV special on climate research being done at the North Pole, and observed that the equipment being used for this particular expedition was purchased by grants from the U. S. Government.
This special also pretended to show that the glaciers were melting and falling into the sea. One could observe huge blocks of ice falling from the glaciers into the ocean, and these observations were used to buttress the argument that the planet was warming at an alarming rate. What the producers of this show failed to tell us was that we were looking at a purely natural event. Ice from glaciers fall into the sea every day. Glaciers have a tendency to move, and when they move enough, some of the accumulated ice sluffs off into the sea. For the life of me, I do not understand why millions of dollars of scientific equipment is needed to observe events that have been going on for thousands of years.
In his book, Hot Talk, Cold Science, Dr. Fred Singer, a distinguished astrophysicist, has taken a hard look at the evidence of climate change.
“Dr Singer explores the inaccuracies in historical climate data, the limitations of attempting to model climate on computers, solar variability and its impact on climate, the effects of clouds, ocean currents and sea levels on global climate, and factors that could mitigate any human impacts on world climate.”
In his book, Singer demonstrates that “the pessimistic, and often alarming scenarios depicted by the media have no scientific basis.”
Dr. Roy Spencer, the chief research scientists at the University of Alabama Huntsville is also a man-made climate change skeptic. He argues that if there is any “climate change,” it is due to a natural process.
But the dark forces are at it again. Governments are running out of money, and they need a “cash cow.” A carbon tax would bring in trillions of dollars and allow the globalists to use that money for any reason they might choose. The corrupt United Nations would love to control that amount of money. Their quest for a “one world government” would then be complete. Obama and Hillary would be deliriously happy, and America’s march to socialism and third world status would be complete.
