Three weapons were removed from the streets and an adult man charged with concealing weapons at a local apartment complex.
Chief Terry Gann, with the Yazoo City Police Department, said his department received a report of juveniles standing in the parking lot of Willow Woods Apartments, allegedly in possession of weapons.
“When officers pulled up at the scene, the group took off running,” Gann said. “Officers were able to detain one individual, who did have a rifle in his possession. Officers also noticed handguns underneath two vehicles.”
Can’darious Gibson was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. And Gann added that three weapons were recovered at the scene.
