Willie Gerald Warrington, Sr., 77, passed away October 15, 2018 in Mobile. A visitation will be Friday, October 19, 2018 at Serenity Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday at Government Street Baptist Church with interment in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Warrington was a devoted member of Government Street Baptist Church where he led the Royal Ambassadors, served as a deacon and was head of the bus ministry where they provide transportation to church for many people. Mr. Warrington was co-owner of R&W Electric and loved fishing and providing for his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Hinson Warrington.
Mr. Warrington is survived by his daughter, Judy Giles; sons, Jerry Warrington (Melanie), Mike Warrington (Anna) and David Warrington (Adrianna); brothers, Merrill Warrington and Glenn Warrington; sisters, Nancy Chambers, Mary Halstead and Bonnie Durden; grandchildren, Joel Vaughn, Ryan Vaughn, Matthew Warrington, Audrey Warrington, Bridger Warrington and Jane Warrington.
