William “Bill” Brown, 80, died Aug. 28, 2016 at HPH Hospice in New Port Richey, Fla.
Visitation is Sept. 3 from 10-11 a.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Funeral services are Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating.
Mr. Brown was born Feb. 19, 1936 in Heidelberg to Roscoe and Dellie Vermel McClellan Brown. He graduated from Heidelberg High School in 1955. He later moved to Yazoo City, where he was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and a truck driver. He moved to Florida in 2009.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Holloway Brown; and a daughter, Vicki King.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Brown (Annissa) of New Port Richey, Fla.; three brothers, Mark Brown, Ralph Brown and Robert Brown; three sisters, Patsy Habeeb, Linda Brown and Bonnie Lacey; a granddaughter, Tamar King; and three grandsons, Matthew Brown, Thomas Brown and Patrick Brown.
