Sara Everett DuBois of Yazoo City passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017.
Funeral services were Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City. Burial followed in the family plot at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. DuBois was born on February 19, 1929, in Yazoo City. She graduated from Yazoo City High School and attended Belhaven College, where she was voted Miss Congeniality and a beauty.
She married Radford E. DuBois Jr. and raised five children in Yazoo City, where they both taught school. Mrs. DuBois established a dance studio introducing both tap and ballet to the community
.Mrs. DuBois was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Rene’; and her grandson, Justin Waites.
She is survived by her children Tra (Margaret) of Leland, Angelique Fulgham (Mike) of Yazoo City, Andre (Catherine) of Yazoo City, Die’dre Barret (Spencer) of Belzoni. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
