Ruby C. Hicks 81, of Yazoo City passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Mrs. Hicks was born Dec. 14, 1935 in Yazoo County to Thad and Rosalie Rusche Hicks. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Hicks; and a daughter, Cindy Nichols.
Survivors are her sons; Ricky Hicks (Shelly) and David Hicks; and a daughter, Pam Waldrop, all of Yazoo City; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Mitchell of Jackson.
Funeral services were Sunday at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Allen officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home
