C.L. "Pete" Warren, 82, passed away April 30, 2016 at his home. Visitation is Wednesday, May 4th, 2016, at Stricklin-King Funeral Home, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, followed by a graveside service at Dover Cemetery at 2:00 pm, officiated by Reverend Caleb Clark.
Mr. Warren was born July 17, 1933, in Yazoo County to William Martin and Nannie Carter Warren. He was self-employed at Warren Pallet Company.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Esther Hennis Warren, daughters Linda Chapman (Bob) of Madison and Lisa Rush (Pat) of Yazoo City; grandchildren Thomas Warren Rush, Elizabeth Rush Shipp (Thomas), Marisa Chapman Hardin (Kenny), Carlie Melissa Hennis Chapman, Alexandra Chapman Ramirez (Vincent); great grandchildren Casper Gable Ramirez, and Zachary Chapman Hardin.
He is also survived by his sister, Earline Warren Howell and sisters-in-law, Alice Wade Warren, Mabel Hennis Strickland, as well as caregivers, LaNeita Gary and Jennifer Ketchum and numerous family and friends.
Pallbearers are Pat Rush, Bob Chapman, Thomas Rush, Thomas Shipp, Kenny Hardin, and Vincent Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers are Walter Patterson and Billy Bradley.
