Peggy Joyce Coody, 76, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at St. Dominic Health Services.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services are 3 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Josh Matthews officiating.
Mrs. Coody was born August 18, 1940 in Vicksburg to C.O. and Ernestine Hales McCoy. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Coody of Bentonia; two daughters, Rebecca Cobb (Richey) of Madison, and Elizabeth (Jeff) Tinnan of Hattiesburg, sons; Leon (Paula) Coody of Bristol, ID, and Charles (Stacey) Coody of Bentonia, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and sister; Cynthia Ward of Belzoni.
Serving as pallbearers are William Twiner, Donald Seay, Richey Cobb, Bozo Burrough, David Droge and Colton Coody.
Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Belk, Andy Burt, Frank Hilderbrand, Billy Ray Harris, Boogie Clark, Raymond Petway and Jeff Tinna
