Peggy Ellis Rhodes, 64, of Yazoo City passed away peacefully on March 26, 2020 in Yazoo City at the Martha Coker Green Houses. Peggy was an administrative assistant at the Green Houses for many years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Yazoo City.
Peggy is survived by her son, Michael Ellis Rhodes of Benton; daughter, Marie Chipley (Chad) of Kosciusko; four grandchildren, Brooks, Brayden, Baylor and Brinkley Chipley; sisters, Linda Trammell of Hattiesburg, Phyllis Ellis of Jackson, Mary Jenkins of Yazoo City and Tina Coats of Gluckstadt; and a brother, Nick Ellis of Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be a graveside Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery. Father Panneer will officiate the services with Stricklin-King handling the arrangements.
