Patricia Langley, 72, of Yazoo City, passed away on June 7, 2023 at her home.
“Pat”, as she was known by her family and friends, was born on August 4, 1950 in Carroll County and was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer & Willie Mae Price Wilson, and her daughter, Leah Carmen Langley. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church of Yazoo City as well as a retired teacher and homemaker for many years.
Pat is survived by her husband, Michael Langley; son, Michael (Claire) Langley of Brandon, MS; grandson, Wilson Henry Langley; brother, Steve Adams (Margaret) of N. Carrollton, MS; sister, Jan (T.J.) Nabors of N. Carrollton, MS; and special family member, Willie Ann Howard.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at The First Baptist Church of Yazoo City. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with funeral services starting at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be held after at Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton, MS at 3:00. Pallbearers will be Kyle Adams, Ganes Bankston, Gary Bankston, Jr., J. Langley, Tim Beard, and John Phillip Damiens.
The family would like to thank the staff of MS Home Care and Baptist Hospice for their love and care of Pat. Also special thanks to longtime caregiver Jerri Deleon. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the Children’s Ministry of First Baptist Church of Yazoo City. Stricklin-King Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
