Norman "Jake" Scott, 54, died on August 2, 2016. Funeral services were held on Thursday at the Stricklin King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Burns officiating. Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Scott was born on June 22, 1962 to Betty and Norman Scott Sr. He was a mechanic and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Scott Sr.; his brother, Stephen "T-Bone" Scott; and his sister, Kathryn "Runt" Scott.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Scott of Yazoo City; his brother, Charlie (Leslie) Scott of Yazoo City; two nephews, Stephen Runnells and Brady Scott of Richland; and two nieces, Shelby Scott and Cassidy Scott of Richland.
