Margaret Abney, 77, of Marion, Ark. and formerly of Holly Bluff, died Thursday September 8, 2016 at Willow Bend Nursing Home in Marion, Ark..
Graveside services were Saturday, Sept. 10 at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan McBride officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home
Mrs. Abney was born in Holly Bluff to Babe Osid Riley and Laura Mae Riley. She was a member of Holly Bluff Baptist Church and retired operator at Tension Envelopes.
Survivors include her husband; Bobby Abney, sons; Michael Goodwin (Twana), and Timothy Goodwin both of Holly Bluff, daughter; Dawn Masters (Richie) of Proctor, Ark., step-son; Chris Abney of Bossier City, La., seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brothers, Rachel Riley of Yazoo City and Neal Riley of Madison.
Serving as pallbearers were Drew Goodwin, Tyler Goodwin, Charles Crook, Mitchell Goodwin and Wyatt Maskis.
