Lena Mae Sims, 89, of Pearl formerly of Yazoo City passed away at her daughter's residence on Pearl Tuesday February 2, 2016. She was a Pharmacy Tech at Essco Drugs and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Carolyn (George) Hankins of Pearl, granddaughters; Mae Hankins of Pearl, & Kersti S. (Brandon) Groce of Biloxi, MS, grandsons; Calvin "Trey" (Jennifer) Sims, iii of Brandon, MS, & Jonathan August Sims of Glen Allen, MS, greatgrandchildren, Alayna Sims, Maci Sims, & Micah Groce.
Mrs. Lena was preceded in death by her husband; Calvin Sims, Sr. & son; Calvin Sims, Jr.
Services will be Friday February 5 at Stricklin-King Funeral Home with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. followed by the service at 11:00 A.M. Internment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Rev. Caleb Clark will officiate.
