Lanelle Richards Montgomery, 90, of Yazoo City passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center Yazoo.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27 at Stricklin-King Funeral Home with visitation starting at 9 a.m until the 10 a.m. funeral service. Rev. Lauren Porter will officiate with burial to follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Montgomer was born Sept. 16, 1927 to James Albert Richards and Ida Busby Richards. She was a retired supervisor of accounts receivable for Mississippi Chemical Corporation and a Baptist.
Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Montgomery; son, Lee Richards Montgomery; brothers, Jim Richards and Everett C. Richards, both of Macon; and a sister, Eleanor Ramey of Minot, N.D.
Survivors include her nephew, Timothy K. Richards of Yazoo City; and other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Ernest Thomas, Luke Richards, Thomas Stricklin, Tim Richards, Albert Vandevere and Cole McDaniel.
