Julia C. Frizell departed this Life on November 13, 2016 in Vicksburg. She is preceded in death by her husband, O. J. Frizell, her son, Michael Eugene Frizell, father and mother, Sinclair Coleman and Elsie Elizabeth Coleman, sisters Earline Everett, Mary Clair Paul and brother Thomas Rowland “Son” Coleman. She is survived in life by her daughters, Betsy Holifield, Pat Savoie, Dawn Rankin, her seven Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren and her brother Robert Eugene “Brut” Coleman as well as her many nieces and nephews. Julia Francis was known affectionately by her family and friends as “Dootsie” and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as “Mimi”. Mimi will always be remembered for her gentle and good natured personality, her independent, fun spirit and the love she had for her family.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, November 15th at Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel in Yazoo City. Visitation will be at 1:00 with the service following at 2:00.
