James Edward Steen, 89, of Yazoo City died Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
Funeral services are Friday at 2 p.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home with Rev. David Humphreys and Rev. Jeff Dixon officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Ruth Jolene Martin Steen; son; Victor Edwin Steen; brother, Charles E. Steen; and his sister, Mary Ann Wansley.
Retired from Mississippi Chemical Corporation following 35 years of service, he was a member of River Mountain Church.
Survivors are his granddaughter Ashley Steen of Denver, Colo.; brother, Hardy W. Steen of Palm Springs, Fla.; great-granddaughter, Addison Lee Steen of Denver, Colo.; and his sister-in-law; Rita Dixon of Yazoo City.
