Hugh E. Gordon Jr, 75, of Brandon, formerly of Yazoo City passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Visitation will be at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City Thursday, November 30 starting at 9:30 A.M. followed by Services at 11:00 A.M.Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery in Brandon
A Construction Worker he was employed by Thweet Construction Company and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
Hugh will be remembered for the love he had for his grandchildren, hunting, sports, his Church and Sunday School Group.
Survivors include his wife; Jeannie Gordon of Brandon, daughter; Rebekah (Matthew) Reynolds of Brandon, son; Steven (Shelia) Gordon of Clinton, step-daughters Debra Barlow of Puckett, MS, and Amy Barlow of Brandon, brothers; Thomas Gordon and Douglas Gordon both of Yazoo City and Danny Gordon of Carthage, MS, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Rev. Jerry File and Rev. Rick Henson will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers are Manley Washington, D. D. Eldridge. Johnnie Twiner, Posey Campbell, Al Campbell, Benji Campbell and Bill Davidson.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Lancaster and Roy Moody.
