Hobert "Rex" Brown, 82, of Yazoo City, MS passed away Sunday, April 8, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Yazoo City.
Mr. Brown was a retired Chief Project Engineer at Mississippi Chemical Corporation for 38 yrs. He was the Men's Sunday School teacher and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Yazoo City. Mr. Brown was also an Avid Outdoorsman and LSU supporter.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Mary Jane of Yazoo City, son Bobby (Cathy) Brown of McComb, son Michael (Sherri) Brown of Madison, daughter Janet Holland (Jeff) of Vicksburg, eight grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and brother Jim Brown of Port Charlotte, FL.
Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Yazoo City. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. in the sanctuary before the service.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Baton Rogue, La.
