Gloria Jean Humphries, 72, of the Tinsley Community in Yazoo County passed away at her residence Wednesday, January 13, 2018. Known as a very giving and helpful person she was Retired as a Senior Marketer at Mississippi Chemical Corporation and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include nephews; Michael Humphries of Mendenhall, Marcus Humphries of Yazoo City, Billy Adams of Slidell, LA, and David Adams of Slidell, LA, nieces; Gail Funck of Slidell, LA and Joyce Pickens of Meridian, MS and numerous great-nephews and nieces.
Ms. Gloria was preceded in death by her sisters; June Adam, and Norene Boren, brother John L. Humphries, and nephews; Phillip Adams and John L. Humphries, III
Services will be Thursday, January 25th at Stricklin-KIng Funeral Home Chapel with visitation starting at 12:30 P.M. Until the 2:00 P.M. Service. Rev. Clint Ritchie will officiate with burial in Glenwood Cemetery.
