Florence I. Bennett, 85, died April 1, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center Yazoo.
Funeral services are Monday at 2 p.m. at Fletcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Chance May and Rev. Miles Bayliss officiating.
Mrs. Bennett was born March 7, 1932 in Yazoo County to Lester and Florence Elzey Bennett. She was a retired office manager for Burley Smith Lumber Company and longtime director and secretary-treasurer for the Hilton Heights Water Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Bennett.
Survivors include her daughter; Hazel B. Rivers (Paul) of Benton; granddaughter, Amber R. Holmbeck (Eric) of Hattiesburg; grandson, Clint Rivers of Madison; great-grandson, Austin R. Holmbeck of Hattiesburg; and brothers; Jeff Ingram of Benton, Lester Ingram of Vaughan and Edward Ingram of Braxton.
Serving as pallbearers are Richard Perry, Clint Rivers, Pope May, Paul Rivers, Eric Holmbeck and Jeffery Ingram.
