David Emory Allen, 62, died July 16, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Charles Wingard officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mr. Allen was born July 2, 1934 in Yazoo County to Charles W. and Mary Belle McCormick Allen. He was a retail store owner and operator and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Charles Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Morgan Allen of Yazoo City; two daughters, Bella Marie Allen of New York City and Emily Allen Chisolm of Clemson, S.C.; four sisters, Imogene Erickson and Frances Barbour of Yazoo City, Olivia Bowman of Bentonia and Barbara Swayze of Benton; and a brother, Robert John Allen of Claremont, N.C.
