Christine S. King, 94, of Benton passed away at her residence Sunday June 14, 2020. A homemaker she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters Gloria Pennington of Olive Branch, and Debra (Jim) Hartner of Benton, sisters; Earline Strickland of Yazoo City, Faye Burchfield of Hernando, and Diane (Eddie) Harlow of Clinton, a brother; Leonard Sanford of Brandon, grandchildren; Dan (Handey) Malone, Jim (Karen) Taylor, Tom (Cindy) Taylor, Crissie (Walker) Smith, Neil (Baeley) Williams, great grandchildren; Matt Marascalso, Rhett Taylor, Archer Williams, Brooke Taylor, Maley Malone, Cambre Malone,and Lucy Smith, Cooper Freeman, and Tripp Williams.
She was preceded in death by; her husband Thomas D. King and her parents William E. and Vera Bostic Sanford Sr.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will not be a public visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home Tuesday June 16 at 10 A.M. In Bethlehem Cemetery in Yazoo County. Rev. Whitt Holmes & Dr. Rocky Henriques will officiate.
