Betty Saxton Potter, 75, of Yazoo City passed away at her residence Tuesday, August 22, 2017. A Baptist she was the retired owner/manager of C& B Quick Shop.
Survivors are her daughter; Debbie Hester (J. D.) of Yazoo City; sons, Nickey Newton of Yazoo City, and Claude Potter (Jennifer) of Benton, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Kenny Saxton of Benton, Robie Saxton of Clinton and Barry Saxton of Benton; sisters, Annie Eldridge of Benton, Janice Kirk of Yazoo City, and Kathy Walker of Flowood.
Services will be held at Parkview Church of God Thursday, August 24 with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Until the service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Saxton Family Cemetery located at Kenny Saxton's residence in the Midway Community.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Saxton, Joey Saxton, Daniel Walker, Wayne Saxton, Mark Saxton, Mike Saxton, Reid Saxton, Clark Saxton, Kirk Douglas, Hunter Douglas and Bubba Saxton.
