Annie Catherine Nelson Rasco, 52, of Yazoo City, passed away on Feb. 9, 2023.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on March 18 at 11 a.m. at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Phoenix.
Annie was born to the late Barbara Newbaker Nelson and Paul Eugene Nelson on September 23, 1971. She made a lifelong career of serving people first at Patenotte Grocery store, then moved on to serve as a cafeteria worker at Webster Elementary.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Rasco; and son, James Rasco, both from Yazoo City; sister, Terri Pierce; brother, Paul M. Nelson and Ivy Pitts; as well as many nieces and nephews. If you were lucky enough to know Annie you know she had the kindest heart and a smile that was contagious. All who loved Annie are welcome to attend.
