Anne Rhodes Phillips died on December 12, 2023, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
Anne was born in Clarksville, TN on May 14, 1963, to Robert Edward Rhodes and Livie Terrell Rhodes. Anne was a graduate of Manchester Academy, class of 1981. She attended Holmes Community College.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edward Rhodes and Livie Bunch Rhodes; and her brother, Michael William Rhodes.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, Gregory William Phillips; her stepson, Blake Phillips (Clay Ivey); her sisters, Catherine Barzizza (Steve), Mary Jane Hollis, Patricia Jones, and Dee Ruhl (Forster); nieces and nephews, Marie Chipley, Michael Ellis Rhodes, Michael Barzizza, Katie Doughty, Cory Hollis, Rob Jones, Jonathan Ruhl, Margaret Ellen Ruhl, Buck Ruhl, Livie Ruhl; and 14 great nieces and nephews.
No arrangements for a memorial service have been made at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorials be sent to Belzoni Animal Rescue Kennel (PO Box 1015, Belzoni, MS 39038).
Anne was “mother hen” to all she met. Her favorite times were spent sitting on her front porch with Greg, cooking for her friends and family, and tending her beautiful garden. All who knew Anne loved her dearly and will have many special memories of her.
