A Yazoo City man was killed Tuesday morning when his car left the roadway on Ridge Road.
Norman “Jake” Scott, 54, died after he was partially ejected from his vehicle around 9 a.m.
Scott lost control of the vehicle after it ran off the right shoulder of the road.
The car struck a tree and rolled over.
Yazoo County Coroner Ricky Shivers said Scott was pronounced dead on the scene.
Funeral services were Thursday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
