A truck driver was arrested this week after allegedly smoking crystal meth prior to his delivery to a local business.
Christopher Grammer, 40, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and possession of paraphernalia.
Terry Gann, chief investigator with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department, said Grammer was arrested Tuesday after his suspicious behavior led to the deputies being notified.
“Upon arriving at his delivery destination, a security guard became concerned because it appeared that Grammer was under the influence,” Gann said. “Once deputies arrived, we searched his truck and found about two grams of meth, which he possibly just smoked.”
