A third suspect is behind bars in connection with an ongoing investigation surrounding a rash of trailer and four-wheeler thefts from December.
Adam Jones, 29, was charged with grand larceny after he admitted to stealing a four-wheeler.
Terry Gann, chief investigator with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department, said suspects arrested earlier in connection with the thefts told investigators it was Jones who stole a four-wheeler.
“Jones’ recent arrest all stems from a previous investigation,” Gann said. “We arrested Jones this week, and he confessed to the theft.”
In December, a ring of burglaries was being reported throughout Yazoo County. Brandin Jackson, 25, and Xtavous Jones were both arrested and charged with possession of stolen property in the case after deputies chased them while they were riding the stolen four-wheelers on Judkins Road.
